sallymilleryogaWithin the vast science of Yoga, there are many practices. Sound is one of these practices that is used specifically to calm the mind. Like your favorite song that makes you feel good, and invokes a certain mood, Sanskrit mantras bring a harmonious Bhava, or Divine Mood, to the body and mind. There are mantras for healing the heart, for compassion, for inner wealth, for clarity, for processing anger, for appreciating and digesting your food, for victory over the fear of death, and many many more.

In this beginner’s workshop, you’ll learn 5 “call-and-response” Mantras and what they mean. We’ll also explore the therapeutic uses of Chanting, and how to integrate mantras into your daily life. Join Sally for this fun and informative workshop! No prior experience is needed.
