dragonflyfestivalpmvinyasaIn this Vinyasa Yoga Workshop, we will:

  • Learn how to recognize fear in the body by allowing ourselves to be present with the sensations that arise with it rather than avoid it.
  • Understand how yoga practice (especially pranayama) helps us to realign the mind to the present moment.
  • Learn to apply non-attachment in poses and to the habits of suffering to create room for peace.
  • Get in touch with our lighthearted inner child who loves to create, play, and take risks.

The workshop will begin with a “dharma talk” or lecture, and then move into a more vigorous asana and pranayama practice.

Sam Hennessey, Claudine Schuster, Joyce McCreavy, and Diane Friel will be co-teaching the workshop. They are all recent graduates of Dragonfly’s 500 HR Advanced Vinyasa Teacher Training with Rolf Gates, internationally recognized yoga teacher and author of the seminal yoga book, Meditations From The Mat.
