Sustainable Saturdays are empowering workshops for anyone ready to implement more Earth conscious practices into every day life. What to expect at a Sustainable Saturday Workshop:
- Featured Sustainability Topic with Presentation by a Local Expert
- February’s Speaker: More and more, solar panels are being installed throughout the Delaware Valley and the world. Come learn about the different types of systems and how they work. We are excited to welcome local solar professional, Mark Bortman, founder of ExactSolar as he shares his knowledge of alternative energy systems with our growing Sustainable Saturdays community!

Melissa “Mesa” Matarese is an eco consultant, lifelong artist, and seasoned yoga teacher. You may have seen her building her tiny house at Delaware Valley University (2017), leading Paddleboard Yoga (8 years) on our local lakes or planting your neighbor’s veggie garden. From off-grid living to permaculture practices to zero emissions driving, she is committed to living an Earth conscious lifestyle and guiding our community into a greener, healthier, happier future.
