This offering is part of our T.I.N.Y. courses series. In these online courses, instructors share their expertise as they guide students through specific topics and themes. This 6-week online series will focus on supporting the optimal function and health of the lungs. Each week we will learn a different kind of practice so you can have a well rounded toolbox to keep your lungs thriving as we move into the winter months. See the outline below to get a better idea of what each practice will include:

Week 1: Intro to Series + Why lung health is ALWAYS important but especially now
Week 2: Vinyasa Practice for Heart + Lung Health
Week 3: Herbs + Foods to Support Lung Health + General immune boosting tips
Week 4: Yin Yoga + Myofascial Release for the Heart + Lung Meridians
Week 5: Breathing Practices for Full Lung Capacity + Guided Meditation for Opening the Heart Chakra
Week 6: Combination Practice + Overview + Daily Practice Outline Provided

This class series is designed for both beginners and seasoned practitioners. All classes are trauma-informed and mindful of injuries. Other variations of poses are offered if needed.

Samantha Barrett has 700+ combined hours of training in Hatha, Advanced Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga with both locally loved and world-renowned teachers. She completed various trainings through the Off the Mat Into the World organization focusing on Yoga, Purpose, and Action, Chakra Intensives, and Trauma-Informed Practices. Sam graduated from Temple University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She aims to make her classes truly accessible and inclusive for all. Meet her on the mat and you will find a practice that stays true to the 8-limbed path of Yoga by honoring philosophy, movement, breath, and meditation. Her classes offer resources for self-regulation and balance, allowing students to move from thinking to feeling. In each class she creates an environment that is authentic and safe, empowering students to hold space for the light and darkness within. Sam lives in Dublin, Pa with her partner Will and their two puppies Navi and River.
