All Levels Yoga
This class is perfect for any level of experience. Poses will be demonstrated with basic to advanced options, and are taught by holding, as well as flowing from one posture to the next. May include breathwork and meditation.
Gentle yoga is great for beginners, pregnant women, seniors, “stiff people” or anyone looking a lower impact yoga practice. May include breathwork and meditation.
Join our supportive and informative new-moms-to-be class. Relax and lengthen areas of the body that are affected by pregnancy, while learning breathing and movement techniques that may help you move though your delivery.
This class uses movement, breath and posture to lessen chronic pain. By using exercises to that address common strength and range of motion imbalances, while avoiding problematic yoga poses, students will work to ease their own suffering. This class is open to all levels, but those with complex diagnoses are encouraged to meet privately with a yoga therapist before enrolling.
Yin Yoga is a quiet, meditative practice that targets the fascia through long-held passive postures. In this all-levels class, the postures are held without muscular effort, close to the ground, for 3-5 minutes. Yin Yoga blends Taoist philosophy with Hatha Yoga to balance the flow of chi/prana/energy through the bodymind.
Yin Yasa Yoga
This class includes yoga for muscular strength and flexibility, followed by poses for restoration and tension relief, by combining hatha, flow, yin, restorative, breathwork, and meditation.
Yoga Fit combines yoga poses and strength training to tone the entire body, by using small weights, stability balls, and other props.
Most often practiced in a supine or reclining position, Yoga Nidra takes you out of your “fight or flight” mode, into a relaxation response, or your body’s natural healing state. Through self-intention (sankalpa), body sensing, breath awareness, guided imagery and other practices, you are guided on a meditation journey.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
During this class, there will be a focus on combining movement with breath, as poses will flow from one to the next. Vinyasa Flow is appropriate for students looking for more vigorous yoga practice. May include breathwork and meditation.
