Class Descriptions

All Levels Yoga

This class is perfect for any level of experience. Poses will be demonstrated with basic to advanced options, and are taught by holding, as well as flowing from one posture to the next. May include breathwork and meditation.

All Levels Yoga (For Strength)

Accessible to all practitioners, this class uses movement and asana to strengthen key muscle groups. Taught through the lens of healing common, chronic aches and pains, emphasis is placed on building strength in sustainable and safe ways.

Breath and Meditation

Dragonfly’s meditation classes are for anyone interested in meditation, from the absolute newbie to the seasoned sitter! These classes offer accessible breathing and meditation techniques. Come experience the benefits of a meditation community.

Gentle Yoga

Gentle yoga is great for beginners, pregnant women, seniors, “stiff people” or anyone looking a lower impact yoga practice. May include breathwork and meditation.

Gentle Yoga (For Anxiety)

This class uses an easy movement and breathing practice (based on the Joint Freeing Series) to ground energy and help create ease in the mind.

Gentle Yoga and Reiki

Experience the harmonious fusion of gentle yoga and Reiki, seamlessly interweaving calming yoga practices with the ancient Japanese energy healing of Reiki. Tailored for those seeking to alleviate stress, this unique combination aims to create space for healing, mindfulness and gratitude in both body and mind.

Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga

Join our supportive and informative new-moms-to-be class. Relax and lengthen areas of the body that are affected by pregnancy, while learning breathing and movement techniques that may help you move though your delivery. Come back after baby is born to start moving again!

Restorative Yoga

Stop and take a breath at the end of your busy week! Our restorative yoga class will give you the opportunity to reground yourself and face the weekend ahead. Class will include deep, slow, prop assisted stretching, focus on breath, and time to learn relaxation methods you can use for the rest of the week. This class is open to all levels including those who have never tried yoga and those currently in a rigorous practice.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

During this class, there will be a focus on combining movement with breath, as poses will flow from one to the next. Vinyasa Flow is appropriate for students looking for more vigorous yoga practice. May include breathwork and meditation.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a quiet, meditative practice that targets the fascia through long-held passive postures. In this all-levels class, the postures are held without muscular effort, close to the ground, for 3-5 minutes. Yin Yoga blends Taoist philosophy with Hatha Yoga to balance the flow of chi/prana/energy through the bodymind.
