Share a quote that inspires you. ‘If it can be solved, there is no need to worry, and if it can’t be solved worry is of no use’ – Dalai Lama.  I have this hanging up at my desk in work.  I am a natural worrier so it is a constant reminder to check what I am worrying about and what can I do.

What do you like to do when you’re not teaching yoga? What I love more than anything is spending time with my handsome J husband and beautiful girls Maddie and Olivia, 5 and 14 months.  I work full time plus teach yoga and essential oils classes so our time is precious.  It doesn’t have to be anything in particular just making a fort in our Pj’s and lounging all day.  Those are the best days!

What is your favorite thing about teaching yoga? I love to really look at people’s faces when they first sit on their mat, and then as they get ready to stand after practice.  You can see the energetic change in their face and it amazes me every time.  I love that anyone can be taught yoga, that every class and practice is different.  Yoga has made me see the world, the individual, the body and breath so differently and I love sharing that through this practice.  Without even realizing it yoga changes you, not only physically, because that is such a small part of ‘yoga’, but changes your awareness to the world.

Classes you like to attend at Dragonfly? I love the Vinyasa class, Monday with Kelly and Thursday with Corinne.  Two great teachers with different styles!

Claire teaches Prenatal Yoga every Sunday from 11:15 – 12:15 p.m.
