What are sandbells? A great new way to work your body! Yoga instructor and personal trainer Linda King leads this weight training workshop that uses sandbells to work your body by increasing grip strength, stability, and improving your ability to perform every day activities.
SandBells are made from reinforced neoprene, filled with a pre-determined amount of sand, and sealed. The active, shifting movement of the sand challenges stabilizing muscles in your core. When working out with the SandBell, you will engage hand and wrist gripping muscles that are typically not activated and strengthened.
SandBells have been featured as the perfect part of a weight loss fitness program by the Dr. Oz Show, Prevention Magazine, Shape.com and Weight Watchers Magazine.
This 3-week workshop will include three 30-minute programs each week:

ABOUT LINDA KING
When her younger brother died from complications with obesity, she made it her mission to help anyone willing to take the first step to better health. She went to school for a year to become a certified personal trainer and nutritional counselor. Linda believes in a balanced approach to health and wellness, incorporating yoga, weights, stability, and functional movement into her classes and individual clients. She is also CPR/1st Aid certified for humans and animals. She holds a Master’s Degree in Theatre/Scriptwriting and teaches at Bucks County Community College.
